Arcane Root
2018
Arcane Root is a site specific installation exploring the unfulfilled dreams and aspirations of our forefathers through visual symbolism and cognitive catharsis. Drawing reference from the msyterious nutmeg canker disease that spread through the plantations of emerald hill in the 1840s which led to the eventual demise of the trade around Emerald Hill area, it serves as an empathetic representation of lost hope and disadventure under unexplained circumstances. -
